Employment conditions

Salary

An important employment condition is of course the salary. This consists of a fixed and a variable component. The fixed component depends on the position. The distribution of profits is linked to corporate and individual targets.

Personal development

Alewijnse devotes a great deal of attention to personal development, including through training. We have an ample training budget and many partnerships with Colleges and Universities, among others. We make concrete, individual agreements with everyone who joins our company on the way we give shape to a personal development trajectory.
In 2013, we launched the Alewijnse Academy, which allows us to offer all employees within our organisation a tailored course or training. There is always room for training and development, both professionally and personally. We also invest in the reimbursement of training costs and study days.

Annual leave

At Alewijnse we understand that there is more to life than working. We consider it important that our employees have sufficient time to relax, so they can return to work full of energy. At Alewijnse, we use two job matrices. The employees in the job matrix within the Collective Bargaining Agreement receive 24 days of leave per year (in full-time employment), and, as a full-time employee, you are entitled to 13 leave days under the working time reduction scheme.
The employees in the job matrix outside the Collective Bargaining Agreement receive a total of 30 days of leave per year (in full-time employment). They are not entitled to any leave days under the working time reduction scheme. All employees can purchase additional leave days.

Secondary employment conditions

Of course, we also offer an attractive package of fringe benefits. For a large number of positions, we apply the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) Metal and Technology. We also have a company scheme. Here is a small selection of the fringe benefits:

  • Excellent group health insurance.
  • 40-hour work week, an average of 8 hours per day.
  • Pension scheme (Metal and Technology pension fund PMT)
  • Travel allowance
  • Net allowance for expenses
